Biarritz, Bayonne and the Basque coast guide

The Town of Biarritz has revamped its centre to make way for pedestrians, seeking to create a better balance between cars and foot traffic and favouring pleasant walkways and animated squares. The seafront now spreads out to a real town centre. The areas of Les Halles and Jules Ferry have been entirely rethought, the Place Clémenceau and Place Bellevue are now completely pedestrian.
