Hostellerie La Croix Blanche, located in the heart of the Loire Valley between Tours and Angers. This historic coaching inn which dates back to 1696 is located opposite the Royal Abbey.

Our  gourmet cuisine in a casual setting in restaurant "Le Plantagenêt",(Logis has awarded 3 "pots" for its cuisine and it is the only Logis Bacchus in Anjou). Traditional French cuisine and tapas are served in brasserie "La Fontaine d'Evraud". Hotel guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon around the pool.

Ambiance rooms :

12 comfortable rooms called ‘Ambiance' which were entirely refurbished in 2010. The rooms in brown and grey tones, enhanced by bright or subtle colours, compliment the contemporary furniture. Each room has been equipped with new beds and duvets, a bathroom with shower, bath robes and hairdryer; flatscreen television, telephone, radio alarm, a fan and free access to WiFi are also standard. One Ambiance room even has a large private terrace with views of the 17th century courtyard. Enjoy a glass of wine, your breakfast or a good book in the comfort of your own room !

Deluxe rooms :
All eight rooms are different : choose a room with classic decor for a 17th century feel or perhaps you'd prefer the modern design rooms with walk-in shower. The choice is yours !  Every room has new beds (double, twin or triple) with duvets, spacious bathroom with bath or shower, comfortable bath robes, toiletries, minifridge, flat screen television with a number of (foreign) satellite channels, direct dial telephone, radio alarm, fan, several magazines and free access to WiFi are standard.  

Prestige rooms :
The oldest part of hotel La Croix Blanche dates back to 1696. Via a historic staircase you'll get to spacious, quiet rooms with historic features (beams, tufa walls, decorative fire places and antique furniture - we are particularly proud of the beautiful wardrobes). All Prestige rooms are different. Do you prefer the large room with views of the abbey entrance and the village square ? Or maybe the spacious room with its separate sitting area and a bathroom with a corner bath? Prestige rooms equal historic features and modern comfort. New double beds and duvets, a sofa, safety deposit box and mini-fridge. Bathrooms with pure cotton bath robes, a range of toiletries and a hairdryer. Movies and foreign satelite channels available on the flat screen television. Free WiFi access, a fan, a radio alarm and free magazines are standard in all three rooms.  

Outdoor pool : 

From May to September you can enjoy the sun and the shade around our outdoor pool. After a day of cycling, visiting Loire Valley castles, markets and wineries a dip in our pool is the perfect way to unwind and relax . Refreshing drinks and ice creams can be ordered too.
