Bellaugello, my home, is a tranquil luxury guesthouse in the heart of Italy. A wonderful old stone house and gardens on a sunny south facing hillside. Recently restored with five luxury individual suites, each with cozy double beds, large exotic bathrooms, some with double showers, one has a comfortable sofa-bed, so can accommodate two couples.  All have kitchen corners, tv, dvd, iPod dock, wifi connection and private terraces.

Breakfast is served daily on the terrace or in the dining room.  Optional Dinner charged at €28.00 per person is served three times a week using local organic produce with guests seated together at one table. A good selection of restaurants nearby.

The main house is surrounded by fragrant terraced gardens,  clothing optional with plenty of places to chill and relax.  Sunloungers are placed at the 15 x 5m infinity salt treated swimming pool - where better to get that all over tan? In the winter we operate a wood fired Finnish sauna located panoramically in the garden.

Situated near Perugia, itself between Rome, Florence, and Rimini,  Bellaugello is the perfect base for you and your partner, or with friends to chill and relax also to enjoy the food and wines, romance and culture, art and architecture, of course shops, and quaint hill-top villages in central Italy.

Activities in Umbria available from Bellaugello include ULM from the local aerodrome in Gubbio (full certificated courses available) Parascending, hillwalking/rambling,bicycle tracks, potholing at the Grotta di Frasassi, white-water rafting at the Cascate di Marmore, horse riding, golf and fishing.

There are many good circular walks throughout Valdichiascio - no need to take the car
