Just a stone's throw from Uzès, the Maison d'Ulysse is the ideal place from which to discover the treasures of the Gard, a peaceful region full of scenic curiosities. The village of Baron, dominated by the ruins of an 11th-century castle, has various landscapes: gentle hills of green oaks, fig and olive trees, sloping vineyards, panoramic plains and an exceptional view point from which one can see the whole valley as far as the Cevennes to the west and the duchy of Uzès to the east.
