The Mas is close to the renowned castle of Baron de Castille, which it was for long time an appurtenance. It is part of an interesting architectural ensemble dated from the eighteen century.

Fully restored, the Mas de Castille is now a charming home that proposes, all year around, the comfort of five large bedrooms, with a fancy decoration, each room having a different style.

Each bedroom is fitted with a private access from the courtyard or from the garden, where you can relax for hours around the pool. And share moments of happiness while having breakfast, served under the summer pergola. Offered by the house, they are composed of natural products and made by the hostess (marmalades, yaourts…) or bought at surrounded farmers.

The bedrooms

The five bedrooms have been restored to create an harmony in between the old stones and Provence colours.

Roomy and bright, each one has her own colour and style: colonial, romantic, country, art deco, oriental… that add a charming touch to the comfort: large beds (160x200 cm) and fully furnished bathrooms.

 

The situation of the Mas de Castille is perfect to discover so much touristic places :

• the Pont du Gard and Gardon’s gorges at 3 km
• the renaissance city of Uzès (8 km)
• the roman city of Nimes, Avignon and its famous Pope’s Palace are close (20 minutes in car)
• In less than 45 minutes : the Alpilles with the Baux de Provence and Saint-Rémy, Arles the roman and the Camargue, Anduze and the Cevennes, the Ardeche’s gorges and the fortifications of Aigues Mortes…
