The guest room of the Vaudres watermill – located in a beautifully restored old mill with lots of charm and character and its own small stream (the "Soue") - is ideal for a romantic weekend away, or to relax and to recharge one’s batteries in an authentic and natural setting. The room is wonderfully spacious (approx. 40m2) and full of character: original stone walls, exposed beams and a period bathtub.
From the picture window, there is an unrestricted view on to the Soue which runs alongside the terrace where you will enjoy your breakfast, weather permitting. The Vaudres watermill was truly a case of a love at first sight for its new owners since April 2007, Sabine and Roland. The Vaudres watermill represents the perfect point of departure for exploring the numerous treasures of the Dordogne.
There is also a private and secure garage at your disposal.

| Access : | The tiny locality of Vaudres is located on the road D70 in between the villages of Sainte-Orse and Gabillou. Take the exit 17 (Sarlat) on the motorway A89, then follow the D6089 to Thenon. In Thenon, turn right to Sainte-Orse at the traffic lights. Once in Sainte-Orse, continue following signs for Gabillou. |
