The region offers a variety of activities : a golf couse half an hour away, riding stables, cycling lanes, tennis courts, swimming pools, and beautiful walks...There are numerous old manors open to the public, museums (dedicated to the famous composer Erik Satie, and the one around the painting school of Eugene Boudin in Honfleur), the music festival of the Pays d’Auge in the summer, visits to the national studs during the « Equidays », the Haras du Pin, any amount of lovely markets, cheese cicuits, as well as those dedicated to the cider manufacturing, and, of course, the innumerable beaches in Cabourg, Deauville, Trouville, with their famous Casinos.

You can also go and taste the local cakes in Cabourg, called « gaufres », and remember the famous writer Marcel Proust who lived in the Grand Hôtel.

This is the ideal place for people who love the typical landscapes of the « bocage normand », with its hills and small lanes winding along green pastures and lovely villages. You will also love the house, the home-made jams and the comfort as well as being totally immersed in a different atmosphere. You are welcomed as friends in this warm and cosy home, the « Matins Bleus ».

The gîte itself is surrounded by a terrace covered with flowers, full south, with its own barbecue. You have an independant entrance, with a parking lot, and all around, 3 acres of a landscaped garden, with a superb view on the Vallée d’Auge.

Description of the gîte :
Ground floor : a living room /dining room, with television, bookshelf and hifi, a double bedroom with shower and washing machine, an independant lavatory. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and the necessary kitchenware, coffee machine and toaster.
On the first floor, there is one bedroom with three beds, an air conditioner, and a shower room with lavatory.
