The pleasure of meeting up

Situated in the heart of a natural site in the Camargue, between earth and sky, dunes and pine forest, lagoons and vineyards, Secrets de Camargue is revealed in all its finery.
You will be captivated by its enchanting backdrops: its culture and the continuous dance of horses and birds are all part of the exceptional mosaic which goes to make up this landscape.

Secrets de Camargue cultivates the elegance of a top-of-the-range ‘open-air hotel’ in its natural, protected surroundings. Luxurious materials provide a tasteful setting: wooden structures, thatched roofs on the main buildings, and so on, as well as a Lodge Club with a piano bar atmosphere to welcome couples late into evening.
Inside the village, each couple can live at their own pace, alternating between moments of relaxation and gentle activities such as relaxation techniques, aqua gym, bridge and chess.

Facilities

For your wellbeing, a bar (Lodge Club) is available for you, together with a restaurant serving simple dishes such as grilled meat and salads, and a mini-shop (little food shop, sun care products etc).
You can also use the facilities offered by Yelloh! village - Les Petits Camarguais (400 metres away) and Yelloh! Village - La Petite Camargue (8 km away).

The pleasures of water

Even though the beach is only 1400 metres away, you will enjoy having a swim and relaxing beside the pool… Two loungers, an umbrella – just enjoy doing nothing, together!

Top-of-the-range toilet blocks !

All our rented accommodation is, of course, equipped with one or two bathrooms with separate toilets, but there are also practical, attractively-decorated toilet blocks available for you (cabins for the disabled, chemical toilets).

Your health
There are 12 medical practitioner’s situated locally. You can also take advantage during the high season of a visiting doctor.
Nearest emergency services, hospitals and clinics at Montpellier (approx 30km).

Transport and communication

Free shuttle to the beach in July and August. Taxis available and a train station 4km away. Montpellier/Fréjorgues airport 25km away.

We do not organise your days from morning till night here

We know only too well that happiness is a rare pleasure to be enjoyed together. Nonetheless, we propose perhaps a little light aqua gym and beginners’ relaxation techniques.

Espiguette beach is waiting for you…

Set like a showcase in unspoilt surroundings, Espiguette offers its visitors the largest beach in the South of France, so that there is privacy for everyone, and no overcrowding. This beach, 13km long and about 700 metres wide, is 1400 metres from the camping village, and has one area for naturists and another for those who prefer to wear clothes.
The Pointe de l’Espiguette beach, which has preserved its natural appearance, is easily accessible, with bicycles available at your accommodation. A special welcome awaits you in one of the beach cafés, where you will find refreshments and simple meals.

As Secrets de Camargue whispers to you

Here there are no all-night noisy events, but pleasant evenings spent in the Lodge Club bar. Cocktails, soft lighting and a piano bar atmosphere, and much more.
Chess, bridge and board games are available for you.

Together, but not cut off from the world

Want some action? Want to get out and see the world? Yelloh ! Village Les Petits Camarguais and La Petite Camargue are also signatories to the Yelloh ! Village charter, come under the same management and are largely open to you.
Les Petits Camarguais, 400 metres away, has made available: bakery, pizzeria, supermarket, newsagent etc. This establishment is particularly popular with families with children aged up to 12 years old.
La Petite Camargue, 8 km away, is a large camping village, whose strong point is entertainment. Numerous shows are put on the outdoor stage, and the bodega-discotheque awaits you from midnight to 3am each night.
A pass will give you access.

The region

Sun and sea
You will really benefit from the pleasures of lazing on the beach, sunbathing and swimming in the sea. There are lots of water sports available at Grau du Roi/Port Camargue.

To explore
The village of Grau du Roi is, above all, a fishing village. You will enjoy watching the trawlers coming in, and buying the day’s catch. The main thing to explore is the Camargue, which is all around you: numerous horse rides, white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos.
At Aigues-Mortes, you will find a town surrounded by 13th-century ramparts, numerous restaurants and picturesque shops.
