It is a bourgeois provençal house purchased by Madame Sylvia Fournier, the owner of the island of Porquerolles, who transformed this house into a hotel in after the world war 2.

The reception area, dining rooms, cigar lounge and kitchen are on the ground floor. On the first floor, two bedrooms with a view over the park, including the suite where Général de Gaulle spent some times during his years as President of the French Republic. On the second floor, there are three more bedrooms with a sitting room, affording views over the park or the Place du Marché (the square where the market is held). Five other rooms-including three duplex rooms-with private gardens are located in the béguinage and look out over the experimental vineyards belonging to the "Coteaux Varois en Provence" wine producers.

The hotel also has:
A bedroom designed for handicapped guests, a toilet designed for handicapped guests, a bar in the veranda opening out onto the park, a library for the exclusive use of hotel's guests.

Numerous activities are available so that each day becomes an unforgettable moment of pure joy and pleasure.

Meanwhile, fans of dolce farniente and relaxation can bask around the swimming pool, or go for a picnic armed with a hamper of delicious goodies prepared by the hotel chefs.
Alain Ducasse likes to wonder around the kitchen garden that enables guests to discover flowers, plants, and vegetables—some rare, some barely known, others completely forgotten.

This house symbolises the inn-keeping spirit of Alain Ducasse and Bruno Clément, their shared coups de cœur and passions. Although they are not present every day, they still look after their guests.
