At the Hôtel des deux amis Per-Henning and Olav welcome you to an enjoyable stay in the heart of Provence and the French Riviera. The hotel is situated in peaceful surroundings at Les Adrets de l'Esterel, with breathtaking views of Cannes and the Mediterranean.
The hotel lies 30 minutes by car from Nice airport and 15 minutes from the beach. It has 8 large double rooms, each their own private bathroom/WC and terrace. As we would like to welcome everyone to stay with us, we have a non-smoking policy in all of our rooms and also in the dining room.
The 15x7 metre outdoor swimming pool is kept at a comfortable temperature throughout the whole season. We can also offer refreshments from our bar which is situated by the pool. All of our guests are more than welcome to use our short tennis court whilst staying with us. The hotel has got private parking.
Lac Saint Cassien, a local lake, is situated not far away, and is a popular area for fishing. It is easy to rent a canoe or pedal boat
There are many nice beaches in the area, and we're sure you can find your favourite beach, whether you prefer it to be stony, sandy or with rocks and cliffs.
The Riviera got it all!
Most of the beaches have shower and toilet. For those of you who like stone beaches, Nice is a good alternative. On the seaside of Promenade des Anglais the hotels got sun beds for rent. You can also buy food and refreshments from the beach restaurants.
If you don't want to pay for a sun bed, you can also lay directly on the stones.Further to the west Ste Maxime has got the same type of beach. If you like shopping, Provence is the right place to go! Here you can find most of the things you need and what you don’t. In Nice, Cannes and St Tropez you’ll find all the brand shops with all the well known designer names.
And the selection of make-up, perfume and accessories are broad. Biot is well known for their glass art, and they have a lot to chose from, both for decoration and for more practical matters. But don’t forget all the markets.
In Nice there is for example an antique market every Monday all year around between the Old City and the Promenade des Anglais. And if you want to experience a typical Provencal market, you have many choices. Each town or village have their own market day where local tradesmen sell their products. Here you can buy everything from agricultural products to textiles with traditional Provencal patterns and flowers for a small amount of money.
If you want to experience pulsating nightlife you've come to the right place! Nice and Cannes are just a short drive away with all kinds of things on offer!
This can also be said about St.Tropez which is just a bit further west along the coast. You can go to small local restaurants which serve tasty French food at reasonable prices, or you can choose from the many restaurants in the Michelin guide with one or more stars.
There are all sorts of small bars or you can go to the night clubs which open after midnight and don't close until dawn. Whatever you are, gay, straight or in between you'll be sure to find something that suits you! Check our link site for web addresses.

Matthieu - Vue magnifique sur Cannes, bel hotel, piscine et terasse fort agréable. 2 petis bémols mais pas fondamentaux: le prix (un peu cher), Peter et Olav ne parlent pas un français parfait. Je conseille... Beautiful view, beautiful hotel and swimming pool. The hosts are very nice. A little expensive + Peter and Olav don't speak a very good French but I recommand this place.
