We are a relaxed and charming longère set within two-hectares of wooded tranquillity.

La Châtaigneraie lies halfway between Biarritz and Hossegor on the Basque-Landes coast and just three kilometres from the stunning Atlantic beaches.

The house was built over a century ago and provides a warm mixture of traditional and modern, with a large swimming pool on the grounds.

We offer four charming rooms and one suite, available by night or the week:

CHASSE à COURRE: it is a large,comfortable room  with a full-sized bed  and connecting bathroom( with toilet and bath and shower),on the ground floor and opening onto a terrace .

RUDAHIRA: Decorated in warm and copper colured tones and an African theme,Rudahira has a four-poster full-size bed and an adjoining bathroom with toilet and bath.

FLEUR BLEUE: The Fleu bleue room,decorated in country flowers and embroided cottons is equipped with a doublebed and an adjoining bathroom with toilet and shower.

We look forward to welcoming you to la Châtaigneraie.

Cadre magnifique, accueil excellent ... laissez vous guider par JB et tout se passera à merveille... nous venons de rentrer à l'instant, et pensons déjà à un retour prochain... Bruno Et Dominique

Dans un cadre idyllique, nous avons été reçus comme des princes par Jean Bernard, ses conseils nous ont été précieux pour bien profiter du séjour. Un gite très agréable où on se ressource à 100%, notre chambre ( chasse à courre) au rdc était très spacieuse et très confortable, nous avons même eu un souper fort agréable. Très fortement conseillé.

très bon weekend .... superbe maison et nos hôtes très sympathiques... rencontre de personnes agréables .... a découvrir sans plus attendre

c'est un véritable paradis ! Nos hôtes sont très attentionnés et disposés pour les bonnes adresses de la région (gastronomie). Un accueil chaleureux, personnalisé, les chambres sont spacieuses et soigneusement préparées, agréables... Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et se prêtent à la convivialité... Un véritable havre de paix où, si comme moi : vous êtes matinal vous pourrez apercevoir les chevreuils dans le parc (un régal pour les yeux). La présence de la piscine est un plus !!! la proximité des plages (naturistes) aussi. Avec mon ami, nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la "Chataigneraie" sans aucun doute nous y retournerons !! que du bonheur...
