With your hosts living separately, you have the freedom and space to chill out, relax and with the advantage of a kitchen you can, if you wish, prepare your own meals or eat out at Normandy's chicest restaurant "Les Bruyères" which is only 6 minutes away. This cool bed and breakfast is set in Normandy's countryside with it's picture-perfect views and where, if you desire, have a barbecue in the company of chickens, goats and Pichu the llama. If you do decide to leave this tranquil bed and breakfast you are well placed to visit Normandy's D-Day landing beaches or Mont Saint Michel or bungy jumping at A.J.Hacket's Normandy centre or take an ultralight aircraft trip around the bay of Mont Saint Michel or for 100% adrenaline, parachuting over Mont Saint Michel which is also an Unesco World Heritage site along with Le Havre, the city rebuilt by Auguste Perret. Booking : Reservations must be confirmed by email and must be guaranteed with the payment of a deposit by cheque (or a holding cheque if not in euros) 30% of the booking value. balance payable upon checkout (we do not accept visa or mastercard)
Check in / check out : You are welcome to check in from 4pm, but if you wish to arrive earlier we will endeavor to make your room available for you. We ask that you vacate your room by 12am on your day of departure.
Annual closing: open all year
Situation : We are located on the D554 2km from Montbray and 7km from exit 39 (Pont-farcy) on the A84 which connects Caen and Rennes and are easily accessible from the ports of Cherbourg, Ouistreham (Caen) and St. Malo; and only 40 minutes to Mont St-Michel.

Tres agreable sejour au Val Borel, coin tres tranquille dans la verdure. Accueil vraiment attentionne et sympathique. On a envie d'y revenir...

Second séjour au Val Borel : l'accueil de Steve et de Kevin est toujours aussi génial ; rien n'a changé et c'est tres bien ainsi : ce serait quand même dommage de ne plus apercevoir le lama promenant sa tête au dessus d'une haie ou les poules d'allure on ne peut plus british courir sur le gazon !

Dans une propriété splendide au coeur de la Normandie, Steaven et Kevin vous accueillent avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Les chambres sont très confortables et le service impeccable(Petit déjeuner gourmand). Un endroit idéale pour visiter le Contentin, proche du Mont Saint Michel et des plages du débarquement. A ne pas manquer si vous recherchez une chambre dans le secteur.

Steven et Kevin sont vraiment des hôtes d'une exceptionnelle gentillesse. Leurs chambres sont tres agréables et d'une propreté irréprochable. Leur maison est située en pleine campagne et est proche du Mt St Michel et des plages du Cotentin. Prix tres competitifs pour la qualité des lieux. Claude

What a great choice of place to stay. Steve and Kevin are super guys, great fun and great hosts. The room was lovely and spacious. We loved the breakfast room. The views are stunning from the rooms and the location is perfect for exploring. If you are looking for a perfect place to relax and base yourself for a while in Normandy then this is for you. Recommended highly to all my friends

A perfect place to stay to explore the area. Steven and Kevin are extremely friendly, courteous and welcoming hosts; beautiful peaceful rooms; lovely grounds to explore, and a first-rate breakast. The kitchen and sitting room for guests' use is a very unusual and welcome feature for a b and b. Give it a try!
