Maussane Les Alpilles is a pretty, bustling little village with its main square surrounded by many bars, restaurants and open-air cafes. Very poular weekly Provencal market just a few minutes walk from the villa.

As gay owners wWe want you to relax and enjoy your time at La Pinède – we can provide lunch by the pool and the bar is open all day for guests taking meals. In the evening we will indulge you with a satisfying 3 or 4 course meal with wide choice of local wines available, served either in the dining room or on the first floor terrace where you can also drink in the wonderful views across the rolling Provencal landscape. Aperitifs can be taken in our extensive wooded private grounds of 2 acres. Whilst we have some all gay weeks, we do not allow children under 16 to stay at the Villa, so there will only be gay-friendly other adult guests.

Each bedroom, all with either twin beds or queen sized double beds has an en-suite walk-in shower or bath and its own balcony overlooking the swimming-pool. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with well-stocked mini-bar available.

As keen amateur artists and lovers of art in all its forms we have themed each bedroom to artists we admire and enjoy with either original or limited edition works of art.

There are 5 bedrooms: Van Gogh (famous for painting much of the Provencal landscape), Dali, Gaugin (with Polynesian furnishings), Picasso and Mabula (a taste of South Africa with pictures of wildlife in the bush).

Upstairs in the dining and living areas, apart from classic art and sculptures to sooth the eye we also provide modern-day comforts such as 42 inch Plasma TV with UK Satellite and DVD – we have around 500 titles available at any one time – enough to cover most tastes! – plus hi-fi. Your bedroom also has a TV /DVD for late night movies or lazy lie-ins with tea and coffee making facility!

On the ground floor can be found our slate-bed snooker, computer games and exercise room, with table-tennis also available plus boules pitch by the pool.

The villa is gay-owned and run. Whilst we have plenty of 'all gay' weeks, there can be a mixed clientele on others. There will never be any children under 16 here during your stay. Please contact us with your ideal holiday requirements and we can advise on availability and price.
