THE PINES, is a charming country house built at the end of the 19th century, located in a green and tranquil hamlet in rural Burgundy close to the local beauty/historical spots of Clamecy, La Charite sur Loire, Cosnes sur Loire, Vezelay, the Morvan, among others.
The house has been entirely renovated in a comfortable, modern yet rustic style and has been awarded 3 stars. We offer a cozy suite with your own bathroom and living room with a log fire.
Feel free to explore our two gardens. The front garden with its stone table nestles between 2 pine trees from which the house derives its name. The back garden covers an area of 3000 square meters and at its center grows a magnificent 250 year-old oak tree. This is also where we grow our seasonal fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs for our kitchen. A stone terrace overlooks the rolling meadows of the countryside where you can enjoy an al -fresco breakfast. There is plenty of space to sunbathe, read, relax or watch the wildlife.
Several villages are within walking distance with astonishing views along the way, as well as a number of historical towns a short drive away.
