Come to rest, relax and make the most of the sun filled colourful « Clos des Amandiers » a gay owned and operated guesthouse.

Discover the provincial sun, it’s delicious food and walk in the lavender fields, as well as benefiting from all the other wonders of the Luberon.The « Clos des Amandiers » is situated at 3 kilometres from the village of Simiane la Rotonde on the country road number 851, not far from the well-known Luberon forest, the Mont Ventoux and the plateau de Sault.

The house itself is an ancient sheep-fold from the XVIII century. It is upon raised land which dominates the other houses found in the valley, along with the lavender fields and sheep pastures.

The garden is full of aromatic herbs and plants; you also benefit from the many divers colours of each flower family.

The patio in white Ménerbes quarry stone, lies between the 4 rooms, where one takes breakfast and dinner. Different coloured roses and geraniums, honeysuckle and the olive tree will accompany the evening meals.As to the evenings ,the patio is all lit up with a multitude of coloured and perfumed candles ( honey, lavender, amber, musk) , lighting up the blue turquoise swimming pool.

The Provincial smells and sights will give you a feeling of peace and relaxation. The lit up village of Simiane will seem far away.

The four rooms are to be found situated by the main house. Two of them are near the pool, whilst the other two are to found by the fruit orchard.

They all have private patios for discretion, so one is able to read or write with the intimacy respected. They all have a different colour scheme concerning the floor tiles, the walls and the hand made tiles in the bathroom
