The charming and rustic village of Gabian, at the foothills of the high Languedoc Natural park is at the meeting point of two rivers surrounded by vineyards and the open countryside of the garrigues.

With its natural spring water fountains this picturesque and lively working village with grocery, post office, baker, newsagent, bar/cafe and pharmacy makes an ideal base for enjoying the surrounding varied landscapes either by car, foot or bicycle. For swimming, either the local lakes, swimming pools or of course the Mediterranean. The Royal Priory of Cassan, now named the Castle-abbey of Cassan, a classified historical monument founded in 1080 AD, sits on a hill overlooking the village.

Within easy reach are the Natural Park, the fine sand beaches of the Mediteranean, the historic and artisan town of Pezenas and the lively and interesting city of Beziers. The area is renowned for its seafood and shellfish that can be enjoyed in the local restaurants.

The Village House is nestled in the historic heart of Gabian. On entering the shade of the internal courtyard you have direct access to the first floor terrace, sunny and bright, perfect for taking breakfast and a siesta in peace and privacy. From here there is access to the bedrooms also on the first floor

Two rooms are available: bedroom one is at the front of the house with dressing room and en-suite shower room. The room's balconies overlook the historic fountain in Place Vieille.

Bedroom two also a double room with en-suite shower room is at the rear of the house and looks out to the sunny garden terrace.
