Marc & Stephane offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation in this delightful eighteenth century residence set in the midst of vineyards and meadows in the beautiful Gard Department of the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France.Located some six kilometers from Anduze – the gateway to the Cevennes Mountains.

This region is renowned for its many places of interest, the beauty of its countryside and principal river – the Gardon, the quality of its gastronomy and finally the world-famous glazed terracotta vases from Anduze itself. A ‘magnanerie’ was originally a building used for silkworm breeding and the production of silk (there was a very important silk industry in the region during the 18th and 19th centuries).

The building has been completely restored and we have created five beautiful rooms each one reflecting a local theme. Beneath the Southern sun, our 12m X 6m swimming pool.

There are five very comfortable bedrooms available at the Magnanerie, each one furnished and decorated according to a particular regional theme. All our bedrooms have en suite bathroom/toilets. There is independent access to the bedrooms, Private, secure car-parking is available. There is a lounge area with TV, board games and a small library available for use by our guests.
